Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actor and narration. Duff, who graduated from Drama Centre London in 1990 and made her first TV appearances in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women & Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on 08 October 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (8 October 1970) was an English screen and stage actress. Her first big role was Fiona Gallagher from the UK television series Shameless the first two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) followed, with her playing the title role, Queen Elizabeth. From Darkness, a television show From Darkness (2013) also featured the role of the lead character. Duff played roles in films like Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes from a Scandal (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). The actress was nominated for BAFTA awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress as well as Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to this she won the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for her performance in the TV movie The History of Mr Polly.
